Very disappointed

I have wanted a Vitamix for years. I thought for sure it would be replacing the cheaper blender that’s I have had for the last two years. However, I find that when I’m making things like hummus or a smoothie that is packed full I have to go back to my old mixer because the Vitamix doesn’t even begin to break down the contents. Extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Great blender

So far the blender works great. It's the smaller size, so won't make large batches, but it fits perfectly in our cabinets which is the reason we got this size. It's very easy to use and simple to clean, which is awesome. It also blends very well. So far I like it.

This is an amazing kitchen tool. I’m so glad I got it. I was u sure which machine to choose but the website had quiz to help give me a recommendation. I don’t think you can choos a wrong one. They all blend wonderfully!

High value in comparison to market

We are two senior people, who use a blender two to three times per day to make smoothies and sauces. Started with a reversed, threaded, high speed design machine (not Vitamix). Machine was too tight to loosen, noisy and unreliable. It did produce a very smooth result. Switched to a top loading machine (not Vitamix) but speed was not high enough to blend smooth. Produced lumpy smoothies. Purchased the Vitamix E310, two months ago. It has more than satisfied all our requirements. Hesitant to purchase in the past due to price. Shouldn’t have.

Loud, but worth it!

The high power motor is loud, early morning smoothies with people sleeping is challenging. It does make the smoothest smoothies though! I also love the pulse switch for when you want to just roughly chop whatever contents is in there.

Excellent

I bought this Vitamix primarily because I couldn’t blend lentils with my blender. It is amazing how smooth and creamy my lentil mix gets for me to make my lentil bread. I also blend my vegetable soups and have done a couple of their recipes. Even the hot soup. So happy!

Broken Blender

The screw that does the spinning is floppy now leaving the motor to work by itself. Can't blend. Loud and awkward noises. I've had it five years.
