Beautiful, Solid, but Not Quality :(

I purchased this set 5/2021 and have used as everyday silverware. I didn’t write a review at that time, but I’m circling back after several issues. First, after about a year, the silverware started to tarnish. I noticed it was only on the teaspoons, and was able to figure out it was from coffee staining the silver. I didn’t realize that could happen. It just took a little effort to rub the tarnish off. It was only slight and maybe no one else would have noticed. Then, I started noticing rust stains on the silver. Some I’m successful getting out using Bar Keepers Friend, but some I am not and I really just hate having to make the extra effort to clean stainless steel when this isn’t supposed to happen, right? Then, my husband is slicing a piece of toast in half (not a lot of effort required) using the butter knife and it snaps in half. His jaw literally fell open. Lol. So while this is a beautiful set, it’s very solid, over time I don’t think the quality holds up.

Nice size and weight

Very nice! Love the size and weight. The knives handles are very substantial and feel good in your hands.

Knives Break and Rust

Love the style but was shocked when two knives simply broke. Was shocked again when a few pieces rusted. Needless to say it is very disappointing.

I love the weight and the look of this set. Overall this is a beautiful set. The one downside is the problem with the knives showing rust marks. There is a package insert that warns you of this. You have to be extremely careful not to leave water on them. It is best to wash and dry them immediately by hand. This is disappointing; I've tried to rescue knives that others have let sit and it is tough to remove that discoloration. For the price I would expect better quality.

Beautiful Silverware

Bought this as a shower gift for my future daughter-in-law. It is a simple but elegant flatware set. She loves it. May buy one for myself.
