The slicer is sturdy and the 9-inch blade makes slicing through meats and cheeses a breeze. Great slicer to make your own lunch meats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive a meat slicer, but I was also terrified to try it! This machine is a good size, you will have to have space to store it. I read the directions and also watched videos on line about taking it apart to clean and my first slicing. I first removed the blade to clean, carefully and that was pretty easy. I washed all the parts before use and put it back together. No problem. I roasted a beef for sandwich meat, low and slow. I let it cool completely before slicing. It takes a minute to get your hands adjusted and off we went to slice. It was not as scary as I thought and it turned out great. I adjusted the width of the slices a few times and got it perfect for lunch meat. It was quick and easy! Clean up was a little bit of a mess. You can remove the blade, but some meat gets stuck in cracks and it is hard to clean. None of the other parts come off so it was hard to clean up perfectly but it got done. I gave it four stars because of the meat flakes that get stuck in the cracks that is annoying and hard to clean. Overall nice product that I will use more and more. Especially since buying lunch meat at the store has been a gamble with Listeria scares everywhere.

Perfect cuts

Limited meat size cannot use a big piece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the slicer in the original packaging. The plastic guard is great for protecting your hands but is a little loose. The meat slice came out perfect. The machine is a little loud but tolerable. It was easy to take the appropriate pieces apart to clean the machine. It cuts thick at .5 but in all still a great meat slicer.

Slice me a snack!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weston 9” Meat Slicer is a kitchen tool that can slice meats, cheese, vegetable, bread and even fruit. I have to admit, I was intimidated when I initially removed the meat slicer from the box. The blades are sharp! Luckily, the appliance comes with many safety features. I use the food pusher to hold the meat while it slices. This reduces the risk of accidentally getting too close to the blades. There’s also a rubber cover that goes over the blades when it’s not in use. Another safety feature are the rubber suction cups on the bottom which prevents the slicer from sliding around. The suction is good and I didn’t notice the slicer shifting at all. I love that the thickness of the slices can be adjusted with the knob in the back although the knob is tight and a bit difficult to turn. I also love the versatility of this slicer. Not only can it slice meat, but it can also slice cheese and bread. I was a little confused at first because the instruction manual clearly says this has a smooth blade and is not intended to slice cheese and bread . When I read this, I was disappointed because I buy a lot of block cheese and large loaf breads . However, I noticed on the box, it says the product includes a serrated blade and is perfect for meats, cheeses, breads, vegetables and fruits! I wish they would update the manual! The 200 watt is a decent motor strength for home use. It’s sufficient for my general needs. If you’re buying a meat slicer, you want to make sure the motor strength is at least 200 watts or you will face performance issues. I didn’t experience any performance issues with this meat slicer for general home use. The blades on this machine are made with stainless steel, which are much more durable. For meat slicers, I wouldn’t go with anything other than stainless steel. The machine moves slowly at first but then increases its power and moves quicker. This does require a large chunk of counter space and it’s the type of appliance that needs to be left on the counter or it won’t be used. I found it cumbersome to clean. You have to remove the parts and then put it together again. To be honest, I love that it can slice meats but I don’t know if I want to take it apart to clean after a few slices. I would have to do some bulk slicing to make it worthwhile to clean. Overalll, this meat slicer does a good job of slicing meats and is versatile enough to slice other commonly and frequently used food. It is equipped with various safety features. The cleaning process can be cumbersome.

Nice design, safe to use, efficient meat slicer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's adequately powerful and a beautifully crafted machine. It looks good when not in use and put to display on the kitchen counter. The size is big with the 9 inch blade, safely hidden from any accidental cut. Fozen and lightly thawed meet cuts beautifully. we could make our own lunchmeat by buying hams and turkey breasts and slicing ourselves. It makes nice thin slices or thicker if you want to cut into cubes. Love this slicer!

Great for lunch meat

This meat slicer is beyond nice quality, the stainless steel meat slicer when you pull it out of the box you will notice that it’s a quality machine. The dial on the back of the meat slicer will adjust the thickness of your cuts. The meat slicer also has an attachment that keeps the product your slicing on track and your fingers safe from the blades. Easy to clean as well.
