so pretty

Just used this for the first time this morning. I bought it only because of the design. It is so pretty. It also makes good coffee. The pitfalls are that you cannot get a cup of coffee until it's fully brewed as it does not have the pause mechanism built in. The other thing is that after the first hot cup of coffee your next cup will be cold and you must zap it in the microwave to be hot again. Because I love the looks of it, it's a keeper....

A bit too hot

I purchased this because I didn’t want to spend $350 for the Chemex Ottomatic. The Willow looks almost identical and my Chemex carafe works with it! My only issue is the water is too hot for a proper brew. The coffee comes out much more acidic than when I would use my pour over kettle.

Better Taste

My daughter loves the coffee maker because with the metal filter she is able to access the oil in the coffee beans as you do with a French press type [providing an enhanced taste experience. I have decided to order one for myself using the Memorial Day 30% off.

Loving it

This coffee maker is great! It makes a delicious piping hot cup of coffee and super easy to use. My only concern is the carafe handle because its on the thin side. Highly recommend it!

Do not buy!

After long research decided on this coffee maker. Arrived broken, the handle on the carafe is cracked. I was going to return, but Willow Kitchen has a card in the box begging people to contact them first if there's and issue and promising they'll reply within 24 hours. So, against my better judgement, I emailed them to give them a chance to make it right. Well it's been over 72 hours without any kind of reply from them. So, back it goes. Don't bother with this one!

cool look and great tasting coffee!

I love the cool look of this coffee maker and the coffee tastes great. It's only a few weeks old though, and there is a little chip off the base....

Delicious and easy pour over

Delicious coffee. I find it easier for cleanup to use a regular #2 cone filter but you don’t need one. The only things I would change is the glass carafe handle is too thin for the weight of the carafe. This is a really great way to have pour over without having a separate kettle . I’ll see if it lasts like my old coffee maker did for over 15 years.
