Engagement Shoot

I purchased this dress to wear for my engagement photos. The dress was delivered fast. This was my back up dress, I am 5'2" and unfortunately did not have time to have the dress altered for length. It fit beautifully and I received multiple compliments as we walked the estate for the shoot!

This dress is stunning. I actually bought this as a back-up after having issues with a different dress's zipper and re-ordered that one, adding this one to the order just in case. I'm so glad I did. The sleeves don't read quite as puffy as they do on the model, but I assume they would on a smaller size where less of the fabric pulls. But it's stunning nonetheless. It's quite heavy, as it's lined and metallic, so likely not great for warmer climates, but perfect for a winter wedding. The color catches the light beautifully, and styling it is easy since it's a showstopper on its own and virtually anything other than matte leather/suede/velvet seemed like too much. One note, it's super long. I'm 5'7", and even if I had worn a taller heel, it would still have needed tailoring. Everything else was perfect though!
