Order canceled

I was just checking to see why I haven’t received my order yet and saw this item was canceled! No notification to me at all. Macy’s does this all the time. Cancels an order for being out of stock, but never lists the item as being unavailable. This allows people to order it, not realizing that in a few days, when they check on the shipping status, they will see their order was canceled! They recently did this with a bed I ordered also.
