Faulty glitter gown, do not buy.

Horrible dress! Do not buy unless you want to cover yourself and guests in head to toe glitter. I still have it all over my car. I had to shower and change into a different dress at her wedding. I was covering black suits with glitter everytime I hugged someone. Clumps of it were all over my face and body to the point that I was asked if I had body glitter on. Customer service was not helpful at all. If you read reviews, which afterwards I did, apparently this happens all the time, yet Macy's continues to sell a faulty dress. To say I am disappointed is such an understatement with Macy's and this dress. Beautiful to look at, just don't wear it or you will look ridiculous and be picking glitter off of you and anything you come in contact with a week later.

This dress is so elegant and flattering! I'm wearing in for my son's wedding, and I can't wait! This is not your typical MOG dress - it's beautiful.

Glitter dress

The description and photos indicate “shimmer” I thought it would be shiny/metallic but it’s glitter. Lots and lots and lots of glitter. Dress fits true to size.

The color is Not what son’s fiance wants for me

It may have looked or fitted nicely but it was too glittery & looked silver rather than purple so I didn’t try it & I’m not keeping it.

Do not recommend

Buyer beware the dress is beautiful and runs small. You have to size up I am 56 ,2 1/2 inch heels and I still would have to hem it. But the dress has a shimmer that sheds it’s a real fine glitter ! One of those small glitter got in my eye I had to go to the eye doctor so that they could remove it. I didn’t know the time when it was but he pulled it out put it in my finger so that I could see it so I do not recommend this dress for anyone ! They should remove this dress from the market. It’s dangerous.
